Clean Up: Homemade Jasmine and Coconut face mask

As summer approaches and the heat gets crazy, our bodies produce more sweat, that could contribute to clogged pores, that results in red and uneven skin. The solution is an all-natural face mask that will dehydrate skin and leave it looking smooth.

I don't like store bought face masks, because they usually leave my skin looking and feeling like plastic. With a homemade mask, you know that there are no hidden chemicals and you can adapt it to fit your lifestyle and skin type.

This particular face mask is rich in essential fatty acids derived from coconut oil, which moisturizes the skin and the jasmine oil, helps with cleansing and toning. The Vitamin E in the coconut oil is also a key nutrient for skin healing.

Ingredients:

3 Tbs extra virgin coconut oil
1 Tbs raw honey
3 drops jasmine essential oil

Soften the coconut oil over heat. Mix with the honey and jasmine oil. Apply to a clean face and leave on for 20 min. Rinse well by wiping face with a warm cloth and splashing face with cold water afterwards. Enjoy a beautiful glowing face, free of dirt ad grime.
